According to RBI guideline, PAYTM is banned in India

Due to Paytm leaking customer KYC data, it is being reported that Paytm will be banned in accordance with RBI guidelines, starting from February 29, 2024.

No additional deposits or credit transactions, other than any interest, cashback, or refunds, will be allowed in any customer's account, prepaid devices, wallets, Fastag, or any top UPI at any time, which cannot be deposited at any time

Customers are prohibited from withdrawing or using any remaining amount in their accounts, including savings bank accounts, current accounts, prepaid devices, Fastag, national general mobile credit cards, etc.

The nodal accounts of One97 Communication Limited and Paytm Payment Services Limited will be terminated as soon as possible, and the service will be discontinued by February 29, 2024

All services and transactions initiated on or before February 29, 2024, will be settled by March 15, 2024, and thereafter, no further transactions will be allowed.
